GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- A second massage therapist who worked at a Grand Rapids spa is charged with sexually assaulting a client.
Lance Dion-Tyler Martinez, 33, of Grand Haven, is charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct for an alleged assault at Massage Green Spa, 3529 28th St. SE, police said.
The charge, which is punishable by up to two years in prison, comes after another therapist from the same spa, 54-year-old John Timothy Ashby, was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct in March.
A woman reported Ashby, of Caledonia Township, assaulted her during a massage on Feb. 28.
Investigators received calls about Massage Green after Ashby was charged, Grand Rapids Police Sgt. Terry Dixon said. A complaint from a woman who said Martinez assaulted her during a massage on Sept. 23 led to the recent sex assault charge.
He turned himself in April 18.
Dixon said the two cases involving Martinez and Ashby are not connected. There may be other victims and police continue to investigate, he said.

An employee who answered the phone at Massage Green declined to comment Thursday. A message left with the company's corporate office was not immediately returned.
State records show Martinez was licensed as a massage therapist in December 2014. His license is good through Oct. 31, 2016.
Ashby was licensed as a massage therapist in October 2014. His license is also valid through Oct. 31, 2016, records say.
Martinez was released from jail after posting $10,000 bond. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for April 29.
Ashby is free on $40,000 bond. His case has been bound over to circuit court.
