Selling gift certificates on EBAY!!!!

Check this out!! Out of curiousity, I did an ebay search. There are people selling gift certificates on ebay!! An interesting idea.... if I put my hometown name in my auction title, everyone who entered the towns name would pull up my auction.

I am not going to do it, but it is an interesting idea!!

I've sold many short gift certificates on eBay with some OK responses. No one has become a "regular" client so far but no unpleasant experiences as of yet.

In my mind it's just another good way to get the word out. I haven't sold a gc on there since Christmas -- too busy.

I just sold 2 gc to the same person on Ebay..They did go for less than my regular massage price. But I though it was a good way to get a new client in the door. And toward the end of the auction there was a bidding war. I just put up 2 more to see what happens

So this post is four years old - I originally sold about a half dozen or so gift certificates for short sessions. Had one purchaser come and redeem the gift certificate for herself and has since been a quarterly client for the last four years. That was the only redeemer that became a regular.
