So I went to E&M recently to see Michelle who is highly reviewed on these forums. I've never been to E&M before as it's a bit out of my way. I agree with you and normally I would try to find out myself through repeat visits but like I said, E&M is quite far for me. If you've never been, ignore the wonderful "extras" being crowed about, and expect a decent massage at a competitve price (50/hr) with a decent release with a small degree of nudity and/or touching. 50 tip would probably get you a very good experience.
