Iv posted this a couple of times. I don't know if I posted it on the right site so here it is again.
Has anyone experienced a client haveing a fire sensation in an area that is being worked on? she said it was like on fire. and when she realized that I was not working that area anylonger it wa still burning. any ideas?

The burning is a nerve issue.

A residual reaction can mean a nerve is being impinged. This is really common with problems like sciatica, which need a doctor's diagnosis. But it could also be that the tissue around the trigger point hasn't finished releasing yet, and still needs some work, for something that intense you might want to use positional release and CRAC stretches to help release the trigger point as well as stretch out the muscle just in case it really is impinging on a nerve.
And do lots of swedish strokes to help sooth the area when you're done.

Thanks everyone with your replys. I had another client yesterday whos deltoid needed work. When I wa working the insertion and origion to release the area it also became fire hot. It just kept getting hotter and hotter. I did quite working that area beacuse I didn't want to do any damage and I know that there is a nerve there but I wasn't near the nerve. It was still hurting when he left. any thoughts
