sense of smell

I suffered concussion 5 years ago and since then have had no sense of smell, but retained my sense of taste .
I am considering acupuncture to maybe help me . Has anyone any advice? reccomendations or magic cures to help.

Hi there

Though I have limited exprerience (i'm still a student) I'd say acupuncture is well worth a try. In fact there is a point by the nose called "Welcome fragrance" which, as the name suggests, could be ideal for you.

I've treated loss of smell with great success, but only twice. Still, that's two out of two.
Go for it!
See a properly qualified acupuncturist though.

hi,
thanks so much for your posts. Really encouraging although I am remaining calm. I started my first acupuncture session today which was interesting. No smell magically first time but I had 1 needle on my forehead, two on each side of my nose, 2 above the mouth corners as well as on my hands and feet.

I was also subscribed some medicine which i shall start soon. the tablets are very small and brown ( xinyi biyan pills )and I have to take 50 in the morn and evening.

I really appreciate any thoughts.




I wanna smell that coffee again.
