Setting all-day chair massage fees?

I have a small, beginning home-massage practice, and an active hospital-massage position.  Today I was asked by a hospital manager to provide an all-day chair massage event at a departmental retreat for staff.  (on my off-day)   I'm still finding out more about the details of the event (numbers of staff, location) but am not sure how to set my fees for a whole-day event: 8am to 3pm.  Charging my usual full hourly rate for 7 hours, plus travel fee, seems a bit much?  Or not? Your thoughts?

Well, you would actually get a meal break in there and at least a morning break, so you can drop it down to 6 hrs anyway.  Do they expect you to be solidly massaging from 8-3 (with a couple of breaks)? How do you get paid for your active hospital-massage position?  Is it less than your hourly rate? A different person every 20 minutes (which is really a 15min massage with change over time)  That's 18 people over 6 hrs.  You will be earning your money.  The shorter the massage the more sonsumables you will go through - facerest covers, cleaning supplies, and more work for you in that you will be working hard for short time to get a result rather than being able to just do a bit of relaxing easier on your body work in between the hard work.  If the massages are shorter because there are more people, you'll be doing back and neck after back and neck without any less demanding arm/hand/etc work.  You will REALLY be earning your money.Depending on the travel time, I might not charge for it.Once you get all the info, maybe ring up your competition and get a quote from them.  You might feel a lot better about what you're charging after you get a quote from a corporate chair massage specialist. business.

is the hospital paying for it or did they ask you to provide the service and if anyone who wants it pay for it themself?The second thought will be to treat it as a marketing event to get more new client.
