I know from a previous discussion that some of you have said that sharing space limits how many clients you get, however I feel for me it makes no sense to rent a space when I can only be there for part of the time anyway. So I do plan on sharing my space. With that decision in place I have some questions for anyone who does happen to share or anyone who may have some input for me.
The whole office is leased out by a chiropractor. she then rents or leases spaces to individuals. I currently do not have a person in mind with whom to share the space I will lease. The chiro has put an ad at the local massage schools to find someone. I have contacted those I know and am waiting to hear if anyone is interested. My question is, should I lease the whole space and then sub-lease to another person? or should the chiro lease to ea of us separately. I am inclined to want to be sort of the lead, the main person and then have someone join me, but the way it looks like its going is that there will be 2 of us together... if I take charge and lease the whol place then I also am responsible for the full rent if someone is not found and/or they want to leave.
