she wont reply to fb chat or msgs?

Talked to her a few times on fb, seemed to click, but haven't met her. She said she will come out one day to a party, i also invited her friend as well, which is actually an an alright friend with me, i texted to see if she will come and no response. Ever since, she's not replying to fb chat. Last time this happened, i told another girl im not going to bother and she can stick it. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.
talked for about a week. Got her numb after about that time, she pretty much gave it to me, she said she would call for a coffee meet up, never called, so i ended up inviting her for the bday party. And after that, nothing.
I'm also having a hard time figuring out, if its hard to get play, or general non interest. I usually try wait for a week and then msg back casually asking watsup, im not exactly sure if to wait 2-3 weeks for a reply as that seems extreme lol, iv never been in a serious relationship so i got no idea.
