The bars off the street are a good way to get ripped off...they'll serve you beer and charge extreemly high prices, if you object there are always 3 or 4 local guy's that show up to help collect. The ladies get commission so they push you to sit and drink promissing action later (action that may or may not happen).
Hotel bars are better bet's but still expensive...I'd stck to street action and take the lady back to your hotel...remember "Play First then Pay" if you Pay then Play you open up for getting less than what you've agreed to. I like the NanHai in SheKou and the street area adjacent to it.

Plenty of good quality street action in Shekou. To find it just walk from the shoping area around the large land locked boat in the general direction of the Ferry Terminal and NanHai Hotel. The shop girls (non pro) will be in the slightly dark area's between street lights...try after 9 pm for better selection. Prices are, as always, subject to discussion. Most often they will ask for 600 to 1000 yuan but will take 300 yuan if you stick to your price.
