Shenzhen.. where, or Shenzhen + Hong Kong?

I stayed at the Landmark several times.
It is midst of the entertainment zone.
After dark lots of freelancers outside of the hotel.
And many "barber shops " near by.

Try the Shangri-la. Also, outside of the hotel a bunch of mamasans peddling massages.

I have been to Shenzhen once, had no luck there, and HK on the Wai Chi area, which I though was a rip off. Found a spa on the mainland and had a nice time later in the evening... That is the extent of my experience here...

I will arrive in Shenzhen on Sat late afternoon, and have business there on Monday. I depart from HK airport on Tuesday about 12:30 in the afternoon.

My Question, where is a good place to stay in Shenzhen, (last time I was near the RR station), want a nice hotel 4+ star (I am on business), and should I just stay there, or come over to HK on Monday late afternoon, and spend the night there.

I would like to be on the subway line, so I can get the train over from Shenzhen to HK and to the hotel, then get to the airport by the train in the morning, if I come to HK..

Was thinking about trying a 141 girl.. but the areas look spread out, and not sure where a nice 4 star hotel would be nearby...

Hope someone can give some advice, where the better value is.. and I do not speak Chinese, although I have mongered in Beijing and Shanghai for many years...
