I've seen some of these bars and the girls are older. Not that that is bad but when i go to TJ its not always to pick up someone, its to hang out with friends and take in the eye candy with a little but of petting. Something you can't get in the states.

Las Chaveles works a little different than Adelitas. In AB you can walk up to any chica, and ask her how much? And if you agree to the price, you go upstairs. But in Las Chaveles, the girls some of them are a little insulted if you just walk up to them, and expect them to go upstairs, and if you don't speak Spanish it's that much worst, and she may not understand what you are asking, and just say no to whatever you are saying?

If you buy a chica a drink in LC 90% of the time she'll go upstairs with no problem. The other 10 percent for some reason or another won't go upstairs, either she is on her period, not ready yet, or really doesn't want do to it with you.

Most bars in TJ the girls expect you to make the first move. Only the 2nd tier girls, fat girls, or older girls make the first move. They have to do something to compete with the younger better looking chicas.

Some of those bars are not so accesable if you are a White Guy...who doesnt speak Spanish...some have a Local Only Vibe---you can deffinitly get snubbed by the Ladies. My Experience at Chaveles was mostly getting approched by "second stringers " who dont speak English and I felt sorry for...Obviously the girls ply their trade with the local Mexican guys and dont pay much attention to Gringos- =8-Q

There have never been set shifts at these bars, although some may come at the same time every day. AB and HK are my two least favorite bars, but you see chicas coming in every hour of the day.

both AD and HK? (as pertaining to this new 3AM shut down time)
