There have been a lot of posts 'someplace else' about short men. Some folks are vehement that women dis short guys, others (dear 'randygirl' for example) are emphatic that it aint so. I cant claim direct experience (not very tall, but not short), but here are three not scientific anecdotes.

My business partner
My bro-in-law
My longtime 2IC

All are short men. All married women between very nice to OMFG :intello:gorgeous.
Wives are AS tall or taller than Mr.
Two of them played competitive hockey until well into their 40s.
All have at least a degree, one has a string of initials so long they barely fit on a card (ending with C.A.)
All have exceptional careers with salaries/worth from way above average to wealthy (NONE had $ when first married)
All the wives are intelligent to OMFG smart, with good to amazingly successful careers.
Two are one-time married, the other 24 years and lookin' solid

As my sister summarized her U memories " So I am the big tall blonde, chug champ, and this quiet short guy very politely keeps hitting on me. He wont quit. He NEVER quit."

I'm not looking for a man right now, but if I ever do, I wouldn't rule someone out because he was shorter than I am. I would rule him out if he was whiny and self-conscious about it, because that would show a lack of self-confidence that would repulse me.

I'm not short now, but was throughout high school where the people at that age are predominantly shallow and was basically ignored as BF material...permanent friend zone...sigh.

I love small women, I love tall women, I just love women

I can tell you that I am the tallest out of most of my friends, and like bears buddies, they all have OMFG drop dead gorgeous women at theirs sides. It had nothing to do with their stature, they are just great guys.

But I will tell you that being tall and large has it's advantages too. You walk in to a room and you are noticed right away; although I tend to try to go unnoticed for the most part This crazy fucking hair of mine doesn't help keep the attention away from me either LOL. (mental picture of a 6' 240 lb bozo the clown with crazy hair..but sans big ass red shoes LOL)
