One of the things you may find with older tables is the weight. Pick it up and walk around with it for at least 5 minutes. Try to put it in your car. Can you manage it OK? Do you have to go up and down stairs with it? Newer tables are usually a bit lighter and after a couple of minutes it can make a HUGE difference.A lot of people start their practice doing a bit of mobile work before getting their place of business set-up, even if is just friend of a friend mobile work. Add you linen and a few other things to the table and it will be even heavier. Could you manage the table then?Has the current owner used it a LOT? The padding may be about to give up and flatten out. It's good the cover is in good condition, but you also have to worry about the condtition of the padding , legs and hinges. Does it squeak? Lie on it for as long as possible - if you're only 90lbs, find someone bigger to lie on it for a while. Turn over. DOes it squeak? How quickly does the foam bounce back? '93 is probably a single density foam on it.....
