Here's the situation- I got a male guinea pig, a B+W Peruvian named Pippin, on Wednesday. He's about four weeks old and, like most cavies, is skittish. But I read online that guineas don't like being alone, so I want another piggie. I don't want to risk his life by putting him under the knife for neutering, but two boars fight and I don't want him to die from injury either!
What should I do? Wait, have him neutered and risk his life, or get a boar and hope they don't fight?
Please help!
