My 6 month old has a stuffy nose (got it from his cousin). I have a humidifier in his room and will be giving him a Johnson's vapour bath tonight. I don't think a crib wedge is an option though because he is all over the place, top to bottom, all night long. I have been giving him saline drops and using a nose syringe.
He is on solids; isn't eating much so am just sticking to the basic cereals until he is better. He doesn't like water much; can maybe get an ounce into him. So I was wondering if I should introduce some very diluted juice to see if he will drink that? He's never had juice before. I don't want him to get used to it though and refuse water. What do I do?
Also, if you could do me a favour and answer this other question I had: http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=An8z2NVgPGN0IZLpIXF5WjHAFQx.;_ylv=3?qid=20090922121703AAZAAUy
It would be much appreciated thank you!
He's bottlefed and taking his usual amount of formula. I clear his nose before a feeding and that seems to help. I just want to make sure he is getting enough fluids.
