Shutout on the Danforth

[I FANCY YOU :)]

It's 11pm and I am on the Danforth. After a 2 month layoff I decide its time for a quickie. Try old reliable Bella spa and the door is locked. Not sure about the rest of you but on a busy street like the Danforth I am not standing around to knock on doors and ring bells. Back in the car and off to check out new place - Zina's - lights off and closed. I remember another somewhere east of Woodbine but it too has lights out. So its off to Sakura east of Pape and guess what - lights out and doors locked. Last try at 1490 and doors locked.

Did I miss something. On any given night in the past most of these places are open door establishments. If anyone expects me to stand around on a street like the Danforth they're nuts. Doing so in an EBC parking lot is one thing but not so here.

Oh well a stop at Pizza Pizza and a little Letterman and I'm $100 richer. Besides the Hustler channel is free for the weekend starting at midnight- woohoo!

In my experience none of those Danforth places are open past 10ish. Besides they are not the best places in my experience. You were better off with the pizza!

Thats kinda weird because the only time i tried bella spa was around 3 in the morning.

There isn't much open past 9 in Scarborough either.

As Jackal said Bella is always open as late at 3 or even 4 in the morning. If its new regulations - oh well I'll be richer and better for it. As for them not being that great, true but for those of us not in the wilds of suburbia we have stumbled upon a few gems from time to time.
