signing up for walking tours and not showing up

Please have a little concideration for other people. Almost every tour is full well ahead of time and I am turning down people. The last 3 walks, I have had 3, 2, and all 5 respectively NOT SHOW UP. Out of those 10 people only one had the courtesy to let me know that he could not make it.

If this continues, I will be forced to restricting the tours to people I know personally.

I would expect that from random clueless mongers, but not from CRT members. Particularly regarding another CRT member.

I agree that it is not good form to RSVP and not show, but Archie, with 14,000+ members (and this thread not being confined to the VIP area) are you really that surprised? While I like all the guys I have met on this board (both in Fla and abroad) all it takes to read and post here is the internet and an email address.

Sorry to hear about this. Frankly it is damn shame because you are doing something very selfish here by dedicating your time to show others the ropes.

To the guys that don't show, please be more considerate and call ahead or pm BB. This kind of attitude can only hurt those who really want to go.

I have to give my apologies to all, specially to BB, since I was supposed to be there in the last tour, but I got to do a emergency trip to Limon last Sunday and I went back until thursday, without or with limited internet access.

I khow this is not an excuse for my total lack of cortesy, but there were nothing I can do.

I think also, that this forum should be a part of a VIP only forum, since these tours are becoming more important.

I do not know if they (the chicas) ever showed or not. I had to leave to escort :roll: :wink: Luna home. Poor little chica has to have an 'adult' with her at night--Mami does not trust the big bad Ticos to not molest daughter if she is alone in the calle. This is probably the best idea anyway. Either yourself or another CRT member who goes on the tours should have atleast met the newbie prior to them coming on the tour. Someone should be able to vouch for the person being a decent, responsible guy. In addition to no-shows, you don't need any big tippers or Aholes coming along and screwing things up for us. Just my opinion.

Mongers are the worst when it comes to reliability down here. Can't tell you the times I've had tours or some sort of business set up for various mongers and have been blown off. They lose their minds if there is still a chica in their beds the next day.
