Single mother, when to introduce kids to boyfriend?

Been dating a man for about 6 months, known him for about a year. We spend VERY LITTLE time together because we both have very busy schedules and also because I'm reluctant to introduce my children to him. He has never had children or spent much time with them and I don't want them to get attached to him in case it turns out just to be a dating relationship. I'm not sure where to go from here. When and how do you know when to introduce children to a boyfriend?

don't bring your kids around your boy friends until you all are very serious, you can't trust your kids with every one, and they can't met ever one you data

Always longer than six months, but the best answer is when it looks like the relationship is heading towards engagement. I know there is a lot of anxiety about how the kids will take him, and how he will take your kids. Sometimes that in itself can be a deal-killer in the extremes.

If there are any doubts whatsoever, hold off and think through them.

Hi, mind if I give you a bit from the man's pov.

Look, you never mentioned if he wanted to meet them. Is this something you've talked about with him? As some posters have already mentioned, 6 months is pretty quick. If things are going well, I would say don't rock the boat. Let him ask to meet them. I know they're your kids and all, but that's a lot of added pressure on the guy. I'm not asking you to understand how or why that is, I'm just asking you to be aware of it.
