skype group chat help?

ok lets say you have a group chat, between lets say 3 people, if the third person goes offline would the third person still be able to see the messages sent after she went offline?
the photo of her is still there but it is off, as if person three is offline.
EXAMPLE:
person 1 starts a group conversation, with person2/3
person 3 has to go and goes offline
person 1/2 have a conversation about something else
my question:
can person 3 see a conversation later, when they goes on?

Yes if they re-join the call but if they fully hangup they shouldn't
