Soi Croc..

Hey guys,

So iv been to patong twice and heading back soon (not soon enough tho). Im pretty sure iv been to every soi around bangla apart from soi croc because of the ladyboys at the front dancing. What i want to know is the bars behind the dancers are they just like any other bar in patong (with real girls and maybe a few lb dotted around) or are they all ladyboys? Basically i dont really want to end up with a lb and want to give myself every chance to stay clear of them (not going thailand is prob my best way to stay clear but that cannot be done).

Iv searched for this but no results, would appriciate any info..

If you make your way past the LB at the front of the Soi, there is plenty of "real" BG's further down in the other bars...so no need to worry about this...plenty of stunners as well! :he:

This is correct. Soi Crocodile is better known as Soi Katoey. Cocktails & dreams moved down past Seduction after Under Tiger. Never heard that road revered to as Soi Katoey until Baz?!

It used to be that there was a large bar at the front (first on right as you look into soi), one in the middle half way down and one at the back which were the only LB bars. Other bars have the token LB but the rest were BGs. This is going back a couple of years.

Take a stroll down the soi and if you don't like what you see, then there is an "escape route" at the back end - keep walking until the very back and then go round to the left (following signs for toilet) but instead of turning right into corridor, turn left and it brings you out into soi Gonzo. Plenty of BGs in there. (Or has that soi now closed too ?)

I've been there in November, after MTB closed went to Pinky's at Croc. Always a ball and full of BG's.. Actually there's a lot of fun drinking with the LB's too. Just make clear at the start you're not romanticly interested.. My experience is that they are good fun.

Have to add to it that i was with my TGF all the time.. She might have threatened one she'd cut off some bodyparts if they'd tried anything with me.. 555

however that would in reality actually be the best way to avoid the ladyboys as their bars are at the front of the soi, so from entering at the rear you'd only see the bars with the girlies in, so reverse Diz's post and bob's your uncle, or aunty, whatever!!!.

Mike, I didn't go down Soi Croc in my first 4 or 5 trips to PHK. Like you, I thought the soi was full of LBs, bone-smokers, queers and other assorted fruit. I've since been down Soi Croc, and can confirm that this is true. But I'm proud to call some of those BMs my good friends now.

You can always go upstairs and have a drink at 'Pirates' and checkout the Soi from there before diving in (metaphorically). I actually haven't spent much time on that Soi myself either (I just ran the gauntlet to get to Body Nude at the end of the Soi), might have to check it out next trip :whistle:

For a start its not called Katoeys R Us! thats their slogan - the bar is Cocktails & Dreams.

The name Soi Katoey has been around for years before any LBs were ever down that street (Soi Happy/Vegas) so i stand by my statement and do not defer to LB websites which you frequent

and tbqfh if you walk anywhere around Bangla and do not see LBs you are also blind 555

I've always heard Soi Croc referred to as Soi Katoey, even from BGs working in Croc.
