Soi Sukhumvit Renovations to Commence Next Month

Was talking to the owner of a Soi Sukhumvit (Patong) bar last night.

He told me that the soi renos were to begin next month Feb.

From what he was told by the soi owners,the rear of Sukhumvit is going to be reopened and will then join up again with soi sea dragon and the new soi that runs down to Beach Road that has the new Kee Hotel in it.

It will make a handy short cut/alternative to walking along Bangla for many.

Thats great news. It will benefit both seadragon and sukhumwit. I was in there a week or so ago, it looks like a ghost town. In peak season.

That chance seems to have slipped by.
There is already shop houses along the new part that goes from the end of sea dragon down to beach road.
No chance of connecting soi`s eric,crocodile,gonzo and easy to it.
Would have been a great idea to expand bangla,but sadly won`t happen.
Plenty of clothes shops along there...in case anyone missed out elsewhere...:

Depending on how or if the end of sukhumvit is opened up a bar or business on the t intersection with the back of suk and sea dragon may be ok.
Not sure what type though.
I know what could work,a strip of better/raunchier a gogo`s,SW style..arty:
