Education can be summarized as the process by which society transmits its accumulated knowledge and skills from one generation to another in the form of a structured presentation (most commonly, lessons within a curriculum).

To 'dumb-down' or simplify part of this knowledge would defeat the very purpose of education.

Youth are suppose to deal with failures in the course of their education. Giving every student a gold star and a hug doesn't EDUCATE. They don't know enough - that is what education is suppose to remedy!
