I learnt somthing interesting yesterday. The cab company I drive for is doing a course on are legal rights and wrongs. We where doing the section on descrimination. And the lawyer dude who is running the course told us for example. A landlord can not descrminate against a WG if she wants to run her business Reviewom his property that she is renting. So there is somthing I didn't know. Also taxi drivers cannot refuse to pick up a WG just because she's a WG. Which is a good thing if you ask me.

:twisted: Now people's I do have to say that is more discrimenation than you can imagine just depends on who you know and were you go.....

the first and foremost candidate for discrimiantion is the newspapers
if were to advertise my services as a doctor, lawyer,cleaner,brainsurgeon,painter,politician.. the charge would be say only $10 for add 5x5 but if a working lady wants to advertise her services its automaticlly 3times the amount why is this so because we are working ladies....... and might I add it is supposed to be illegal to profit Reviewom so called prostitution so what that make all the papers or pimps

I don't know about that D... there is a group of sexist bastards that I work with here and "educated" they are supposed to be.

In fact they pride themselves on the certificates they have hanging on the wall. Of course most of them have lost complete touch with the real world and haven't pulled their weight for years (if ever).

They even have a pet nick name that they want us to call them... the "Managers". We just call them the "Wankers". lol

Sadly, I have to stick up for my sad and sorry colleagues, even if they don't often deserve it.

Most managers start out as competant, hard working people who do well at their job. Sadly, many of our industries have a promotion of rewarding someone who is gifted or skilled in a technical role by promoting them to a management position where their skills are often completely useless.

In effect, you reward someone for doing well by making them stop what they're doing well at ??

No wonder some of em go nutso!

Not all of us managers are complete wastes of time ...
