sore feet

hey guys

a girl i know has complained of sore feet but hasn't had any treatments and asked me did i know what caused it. she hasn't changed her shoes, her feet dont slip in her shoes and doesnt stand all day.

does anyone else have any ideas on what would cause her feet to be so sore?

Hi jh, my initial thought was weight gain, or posture related or circulation problems.

Is she doing more exercise??

I just googled cause of sore feet and a few things popped up, i have copied this info from one site.



Causes of sore feet
Michelle Meadows, in the article ‘Taking Care of Your Feet’, published in the FDA Consumer Magazine, states that sore feet are a sure sign of aging. The author says that most sore feet problems are caused due to wear and tear. Describing the complex anatomy of the foot, Michelle states that ‘human foot has 26 bones, 33 joints and more than 100 tendons, muscles and ligaments’. Given this, anything can go wrong anytime.
Kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, and circulatory problems can also cause the feet to swell. Other symptoms include tingling or numbness in the feet and slow-healing wounds.

I should add i am not a reflexlogist, just had some thoughts.

Sore feet is a very general term. Does she mean that the skin is sore, or is it the muscles and tendons?

My recommendation is that she sees a podiatrist for a biomechanical assessment.
