Just sold my first instant gift certificate with Spa Boom! My friend has been meaning to put the link in my website for 3 weeks now and he just got it done last night, and just like that, my first sale, yay!!!

I just wanted to share, now I'm going to log into my account to find out how to get paid

In order to get your money, you need to be able to accept credit cards. You process the card on your own. Spaboom doesnt pay you directly, they just gather the credit card and address info.

Yeah, I have propay, just the basic account. As soon as I finally get all of my paperwork filed and myself registered as an LLC, I'm going to check with my bank about setting up a merchant account with them, but they won't let me do that unless I have a business account, which I can't have unless I have a tax ID #. So many rules :roll:

I currently have propay too. In a few weeks, I will be upgrading to merchantwarehouse.com.

Propay was fine to start with, but as I have become more busy and more people use plastic, I know I need to upgrade to having a machine in my office.

Since I am a sole prop. I just used my SSN for my tax ID to open a business account. That is not an option for you?

This is what I did, too. It's a much less expensive option - and instant, too!

Congrats! Check out Spa Boom's Spa Emergency GC program too. You make less on the GC sale than you do when you sell one directly from your site, but they do the advertising for you.
