Angels has only been around for about 6 weeks.

If I was Angel's Spa, I'd be mighty pissed that some idiot Edmonton Journal photographer decides to take a picture of their front door without even doing his research first.

Based on what I've read, it seems that the complaints to LE were made on Impulse's Southside studio by neighbours. The Westend studio which is now Angel's is in an industrial complex with most places closing at 6, or 9 at the latest.

In between the time the Westend Impulse became Angel's, it was an Asian Spa and I believe called something else. It's possible the southside studio went Asian as well. Thus the complaints to LE and Bylaw about human trafficking.

As for this Denis Huggins character, I suspect LE had their eyes on him ever since one of his Juice escorts, Chantel Robertson, was strangled last year. This piece of shit was her driver at the time but supposedly left her alone with the killer, while he took off to pick up another of his escorts. If he would have done his job and stayed there maybe Chantel would still be alive today. I wonder how he can even sleep at night with that on his consious.

Imagine if say some lawyer/doctor/dentist etc moved into the location after they were shut down, then you'd be seeing a pic of their business

Well maybe not all. I feel angels (Not Angles Spa as so oddly portrayed often on CL) spa has born the brunt of the bad press.

Different owners, different gals. Hopefully more class.
It's not really in an area that is surrounded by housing anyway. People bitching should be minimally small.
MMC would be worse than them.
Certainly VT would be much worse, being in the bottom of an apartment complex.

Yet oddly, no complaints.
I know EBC received a lot of complaints. From what I heard, from the owner of Cloud 9 Massage.

The Edmonton Sun story had it correct. Mentioned it was Impulse Spa and also mentioned that the current spa is NOT related.

I read the story and felt it worthy of a Post.

Clearly Bad Reporting by the Edmonton Journal. Hopefully they issue an apology as well.
