Spa Eau Claire receptionist stealing $ 20 from clients

I visited Spa Eau Claire and asked to see the lineup. The receptionist was a black lady. I was told I had to pay $ 40 for the room fee to see the lineup and was told that if I decided not to stay I would get my full $ 40 back. I met the lineup, which was only two girls, but I decided not to stay and the receptionist only gave me $ 20 back. I demanded the other $ 20 back and she got hostle and threatened me and forced me to the door. I am considering laying assault charges. What that was was theft. I was lied to. I was told I would get my full $ 40 back and she steals $ 20. If that happens to 20 clients a day, then Spa Eau Claire is making good profit ripping people off. I suggest you all stay away as tommorow I will have Montreal Police there and you don't want to be seen naked in the room when the Police drop by. Just a warning to you all. Spa Eau Claire will not continue to get away with this

If a Spa asked me for money in advance ,just to see a presentation , that would raise a red flag and I would just leave.

P.S. that receptionist IMHO is no "lady".

I went to this place once, last summer. I was quite new to this 'activity'.

It was on Friday night, or more Saturday morning, maybe 1:00 am.

I asked how much it was for a massage. The receptionist, who was not the same monboy met, told me that it was $50 for half hour.

Seing my surprise, she said usually it is $50 for 1 hour, during the day shift, but during the night it is quite busy and we cannot give 1 hour sessions because the girls need to rest a little.

I said fine, I will come back when it is less croudy.

I did not tell her that there will never be a less busy time that will make me come back here.

I can understand that they won't give sessions of 1 hour.... but don't charge me the price of an hour visit.

It is true that the difference is not enormous (40$/hh), but this is something that I can hardly accept.

Yes I know, golf or ski clubs do the same: they charge higher prices during the weekends, when it is busier.

But that is why I rarely go skiing or golfing during weekends. Not that I can't afford it, but more by principle.

To their defense, they could always say that during weekends you get the regular price that is reduced during weekdays to get more clients.

But telling you that they willingly overcharge you because it is a busy time !? Well ... no thanks.

Now maybe this is standard pactice for mp's that are open late at night.

But after reading monboy's post, it is possible that the receptionnist was simply tipping herself with the extra $10.

For my part, I don't visit mp's on Friday and Saturday nights anymore. Not much because of the prices, but because it is too busy, and the quality of the service may not be as good.

That's bullshit because, first, they don't quote pricing like that on their website, and second, the obvious reason they don't give 1 hour sessions is so that the girls can maximize their profits during the busy period. The girls make the same on options regardless the length of the visit. What's more, charging $40 for half-an-hour is already a better deal for the parlor, so forcing a half-hour limit then charging over the advertised price is just greedy money-grabbing.

Personally, I've never been to Eau Claire, mainly because I've never read anything good about the place.

The fact of the matter is this. She told me I would be getting my money back if I decided not to stay. The full $ 40. She did not say that she would be withholding $ 20. If she is still there I will call the Police to file charges. I have already contacted Montreal Police but have not filed charges yet. I have also filed a grievance with City Hall seeking revocation of their business license. I had better get that $ 20 back or I promise you the Police will be there

Better is to have a spy pen camera, you can use the record as proof of evidence to help your cause or help the City Hall and Police to investigate on this commerce. :help::help:

I don't think that getting police or City Hall involved is a bright idea because it will give them ammunition when they will want to make interventions or legiferate against massage parlors.

You are endangering your fellow hobbyists by asking law enforcement to make a visit or an intervention in a massage parlor.

Yes, the situation you went threw is frustrating, but you should listen to Dr.Phil, cut your losses, don't let yourself being immerged with negative feelings.

You did the right thing by warning us here on eforum.xxx, all the bad publicity they are having will be your personnal vengeance.

I think Monboy can proceed and no ammunition will be acquired. Many parlors have had visits by the LE and on some occasion the city. Some of those places end up closing for various reasons. Still today we have hundreds of parlors in Montreal and around. This is not going down anytime soon. I mean... this business is still fueling the economy and face it, LE and politician also use these places.

It's time for shitholes like eau claire to be shutdown.

agree at 110%. Those respecting the laws and regulations be it federal, provincial or municipal have nothing to worry. those not are those making the most trouble and tarnish the industry. it's time for a clean-up.
