Just want to say that they didn't lose sight of the important things during the prequel: lots of tits and fights lol.

Man, they are even showing bush!! (the hair not the ex president!!).

I would say overall the first episode was right on the mark and look forward to next five installments.

I do hope they move onto a proper S:2 after the prequel though. I like the whole slave revolt thing.

I dunno about that, it's not looking good for Andy Whitfield. He was doing good with his cancer then had a major relapse. I saw a photo of him and he's in rough shape.

Too bad really, he finally got his big break and this shit happens.....

I can't see how they'd do a S:2, he was the main character. I know others have replaced actors who have passed away, but like the Matrix, they were small roles and easily explained. I hope they don't do like the sopranos and tony's mother: use someone else's body and digitally place the other actor's head on it...lol that was S C A R Y.

For a lead, I'd suspect that would be cost prohibitive to do well, and really bad if done badly.

I don't mind the prequel stuff, and in it's own way ending right when the revolt starts could be a logical ending, but I'd still rather see that revolt play out.

That's a bitter sweet announcement: Sweet that they're moving forward with the series but it won't be the same without Andy. Especially under the circumstances. I mean, if he was a spoiled star and demanded more money or something, it'd be easier to swallow but because of cancer? That sucks big time.

The FNG has a LOT of work ahead of him. I don't know what kind of physical condition he's in but he's going to have to be to play this part. No covering up in this series: they're always running around mostly naked.....

I really loved this series, Hadnt heard about the Leads health problems. Sobering info, he certainly seemed vital in the role.

Have to admit the T n A made this show even more watchable. Had to chase the kids from the room tho lol
