Hi all,
I am getting ready for the big move next week and have a question about positioning speakers in my room to help block outside noise.
In my current set up, I have a 4 satellite speakers surrounding the table with the receiver on the floor under my desk.
In my new set up, I think a better placement would be the 4 speakers more centered around the head of my table. I also want to buy a stereo with a cd changer. I figure I can run the stereo speakers in the ceiling and have them aimed at the head of the table. There is special grating in the ceiling so the music would easily come through.
The system I am looking at is a 200 watt system. Does anyone know anything about stereos? The stereo has the color coded clips on the back and I could easily fit in the wires from my satellite speakers. Is this acceptable?? Or am I going to blow something up??
I also plan on hanging a tapestry on the inside of my door and the back wall where there is an adjoining salon. I have heard hanging such things on the walls blocks outside noise.
Of course, I also have a white noise machine and fans.
Thanks for your input.
Christine
