Police seek witnesses in Brampton shooting death

A man is dead following a shooting early Saturday morning in Brampton.

Peel Police tell 680News that a woman called 911 around 4 o'clock Saturday morning after discovering a man's body in a parking lot near Torbram Road and Steeles Avenue East.

Constable Craig Platt tells 680News investigators are still speaking with witnesses.

"There are a number of businesses at this particular location, it is an industrial area. One particular business that was open at the time was a licensed establishment."

Police believe there were a number of people who may have witnessed the shooting and they're asked to come forward with any information about this inciden

The establishment they were talking about being open at the time was the licenced club MalibAu Marie. It caters to mostly Blacks.

Nothing in the article was about SRM.

There was another fatal nightclub shooting at a club 100m west 2 years ago

I believe the club Malibu Marie is run by a couple from Trinidad
This clientele there is dark but I've seen many races of people in there

mmmmmmmm we were Closed @ 4 am There was Just the cleaning crew here @ the time.
Had nothing to do with this establishment.
The bar faceing Steeles is where the incident happened.
So It had nothing to to do with us or any other store in our plaza.
Just that they have the plaza blocked off both entrances

OMG this particular Plaza has become risky & frisky for respectable gentlemanto visit Licenced or non-licence spa's......
Guys be careful of LE's watch over the area particular this plaza.

I don't know about you other guys, but I would never go into any of these industrial areas in the middle of the night. Granted I am an older fellow, and tend to visit MPs in the morning or early afternoon anyway. The only place I've ever gone after dark is Platinum on Shephard, except for the little hole-in-the-wall joints on St. Clair West, where I feel comfortable any time of the night or day. How about you guys?

With all that much police serving and protecting, anyone feels unsafe before at the plaza should go there now. There will be absolutely no trouble.

Yes, you're probably right, K.C. I should pull a late night visit to SRM and see what it's like. We sometimes should remember that this is a cash business, and MPs are easy targets for thieves, especially after dark. One of the reasons I like Allure: there's a massive cop shop on Derry Road, not a half mile away. I'm sure the cops will look after Allure- at least in case any of their off-duty buddies are in there.

A murder was committed in the same plaza and has nothing to do with either of the spas in that location, if anything the area will likely be crime free, at least for the next little while. Worst case scenerio you're plates might get run by cops looking for a possible connection but that happens in strip club parking lots too so who really cares unless you have something to hide.

there used to be a spa just east of srm in same plaza but it's been gone for quite some time now...

I like Allure: there's a massive cop shop on Derry Road, not a half mile away. I'm sure the cops will look after Allure- at least in case any of their off-duty buddies are in there.( posted by amazing age)

I like SRM been working there 13 years never been robbed or any other problems for that mater . Its very safe guys come and enjoy!!!
