I stand by what I HEARD, I never stated it was the absolute truth. I named the source of the rumour and I posed the question "Why hasn't anyone else reported this?"

Now English is not my first language, but it seems to me that I left the door wide open for a rebuttal or at least a statement to the contrary.

BTW, two out of the three places mentioned did get a visit from LE.

So, all you had to say was that you didn't get a visit from LE and that should settle it.

It may not mean much in the scope of things, as I was never a frequent patron of your facility. But given your attitude I choose not to patronize your establishment in the future. Now I wish they would put some of that energy into fixing up their place. Seems to me, if I owned a business that most were calling a "dump" I would do something to change that opinion. I guess business must be good enough to ignore our comments or perhaps the grime works in their favor.

If Alpha Care is in need of suggestions to improve their bottom line, they should have paid attention to our suggestions ages ago. Keep the place clean. The last time I was there I met one of the managers and I was talking to him about the place and he did say they were trying to "fix" the place up. I still was not impressed.

It makes me laugh when I see the amount of money that people like Alpha Care and Blue Lagoon are spending in the way of advertising their facilities. I look at places like HFH and IT which are prohibited from advertising yet they do so well because the places are clean and the attendants are very pleasant which is a far cry from what you get at Blue Lagoon or AlphaCare.

Do you guys not realize that you have the potential to be one of the most popular and profitable mp's around if you would just get your acts together? If you want to sit down and discuss it, contact me. But dont go around threatening legal action as it makes you look even worse.

This Alpha Care statement is based on the classic military axiom "When you can't defend ATTACK". Or if you like football "The best defense is a good offense"

Lawyers play this bullshit game all the time. Start right away with the threats and then watch everybody run.

I know many of us hear cringe at the word LE or cop but I cringe at the word lawyer.

But the tactic taken is classic bullshit. There is zero,zip,nada that they could do. The burden of proof is on them and the last thing that they actually want is this to go to court. Because there they would have to prove that anything said here actually caused them to lose business. Even I can sucessfully prove that any loses that may exist were caused by "other" reasons and tha AC was using intimidation tactics trying to hush hush the entire incedent.

Make big ass threats and shut everyone up - that is the goal. The whole thing has totally pissed me off.

Well AC if your worried about losing business mine is GONE!!

There are some laywers here on the board I would love to hear what they think about A/Cs threats. I would think A/Cs threat wouldn't stand up in court.

Not that it matters I bet their strong arm tactics here lose them business and the benefit of the doubt that massageplanet.net members extended them.

Now we have to add, AC would be good if:

1. It wasn't a filth pit ( and not the good kind of filth either)
2. Run by biligerent goons

The sad thing is, I too used to go to this place when I was in TO. It should be a warning to other spa owners about what happens if you sit on your laurels.
