Ste. Catherine Area Recomendations???

First thanks for the responses to my Octopussy post.

Now on to this one. I am go up to Montreal in a couple weeks and the bunch of us hang around the Ste. Catherine area. We're planing to bounce from bar to bar (and other establishments) the first night just to see what's there then settling in the next two nights.

So basicly what I'm looking for is some advice on the places that are more liberal with thier extras. I know nothing's a sure thing, but statisticly speeking, what are the good spots?
