I was participating in the current steam client beta when i stopped receiving messages from friends. I am unsure whether or not they are receiving mine, and i don't see their replies, or if my messages are simply not going through. I have messaged everyone on my friends list multiple times, so i am positive they cannot all have been busy for the past 12 hours. No forum has information on this and i signed up on the steam forums but they are taking ages to activate my account, has anyone ever heard of this or a solution?

I have withdrawn beta participation, and restarted steam, my internet, and my computer multiple times.
