My mum has been diagnosed with sarcoidosis in her lungs (fibrotic tissue build up) and has just started a course of steroids. Was wondering if anyone out there could recommend any therapy that may help her with the side effects.

I am a newly qualified reflexologist and any advise on how I may be able to help her would be graeatly appreciated.

'm sorry to hear your Mum has this condition.

Dont be afraid to treat her, but remember that steroids can make the skin fragile, so go gently.

I should think you would work on the chest lung area, particularly and strengthening the immune system, anti-inlammatories and also lymphatics.
Aim also for relaxation, and to take her mind off her condition
