stomach/pancreas reflex always lumpy

As a student doing case studies I'm a bit stuck on something. In all five treatments so far I can find lumpiness on my client's stomach and pancreas reflex but we can't work out why. I'm having lots of success and helping relieve some other symptoms on clients but really confused on this one, any ideas? am I missing something?

when did they last eat?

What time are you doing their treatments, ie. are you doing them shortly after they've had a meal?

Thanks for your comments - she always has a treatment and then her meal later, so I guess she is always a little hungry

no, she doesn't - she has plenty of other health issues though, none related to digestive

thanks for helping - yes she finds it very painful in that area. usually we leave it around 3-4 hours since she's eaten before doing the treatment

Perhaps it is your technique - if you are applying more pressure to this area than to others you will be more aware of any lumps and bumps under the skin. Maybe you could compare your grip and technique to other students in your group?
