Stools.....which one?

I want to get a rolling adjustable stool.

Which one? Oakworks makes a basic stool and its pretty affordable. I found it at massageking for 70bucks, free ship.

Just wondering if anyone has had bad experiences with one brand.

I have an earthlite rolling adjustable stool, which has been great. Oakworks makes two levels of products -- professional level, and then a cheaper level. Professional level stools are usually $90-100. Since you use it every day, it's worth the investment to go with professional. (IMO)

Ive been looking.....and the earthlite looks pretty nice. Plus, I can get one to match my table........

anyone else have an earthlite.......like or dislike

what about some of the other brands like Lifegear, Essence, or this one on amazon.com

I bought the Massageking one on e-bay. I like it, but I wish it went just a little bit lower. I am tall and it is too high for my liking. So if I ever buy another one, I will definitely measure the hight that I need prior to ordering.

i found this to be a problem for me too. definitely make sure you know the height adjustments when you purchase a stool. they are all different and can vary greatly!

A great rolling adjustable stool can be found at Best Massage Table.com. I use this stool myself. It is comfortable, easy to adjust, and quiet.

It is $50 + 9 shipping, as of today.

Welcome ommassagetherapy! You might want to check the dates of the post you are referring to. Shane's post was from Jan 07 (over a year ago). They may have had free shipping then, but don't now.

I have two stools in my office. The one I use the most is this one:
Equipro Ergonomic Air-Lift Stool with Backrest

Keep in mind that my goal is to do close to 100% CranioSacral work, so a comfortable stool was very important to me. Hence, the expensive stool. I chose this one because I had used it many times previously at the spa I managed. They had one for the esthetician, but I would borrow it when I did multiple therapist CST work.

My second stool is the Oakworks one you mentioned. Nothing fancy but it is a nice stool. Oakworks currently has it on sale for $65 with free shipping.
