basically the prostitution laws in canada and especiallu quebec are alot more civil then what we have in the states.
picking up a SW is definately not advised since escorts are not much more expensive and alot more safe.
i dont think that u have anything to worry about if you stick with respected agencies or established independents. i dont even think about the LE when i am there, the danger is nothing compared to what we have down here.

as for the fantasy part, you are probably better off contacting an indepndent and booking her for several hours. i am sure lots of them have the "date" type service if you book them for 3-4 hours. I dont know if the agencies would accomodate but who knows, call them up and tell them what you are looking for. they are pretty accomodating.

One thing is clear - and remains so even in the face of the ferment in the state of the law. Picking up SW is the most likely way to run afoul of the law in Canada. You would be much better off using an agency, or even CL, if you want to enjoy your time without worrying about LE.

I'm going to Montreal two weekends from now and was wondering if anyone knows any specific info on the rules regarding such activities

....I don't mean to doubt you guys but it's safer to know exactly how the law stands on it rather than just go on rumor....I've never hobbied outside of the states so that's just why I'm a bit more alert and cautious.


As an aside....I'm going up with some buddies and would like to spend some time with an escort but WITHOUT alerting the guys that she's ....well....um.....being paid....so anyone have any advice on an agency or an independent who wouldn't mind at least meeting at a bar or strip club pretending to be just some local girl? Plus I think it also helps keep up the fantasy heehee....

i know its legal when its outcall and thats a great thing. i will check out some reviews and definately get an escort or two.

i have been to montreal many, many times and actually the street scene is quite prevalent. it is not in the main touristy downtown area, it is more to the side. however it is very high profile in the summer, there would usually be 50 or more girls in that area waving at cars. it is very obvious unlike what we have in the states. i don't think the police cares about such things. there is usually a police car or two patrolling the area and i have never seen them bother the girls. montreal is almost like europe, the cops dont care about prostitution.

in any case its legal when you do outcall so the penalty can't be very harsh if you are doing it in the street. montreal is very liberal when it comes to small time vices such as prostitution or marijuana. even if you get busted for either, i am sure the most you would get is a ticket.

But, I'd have to say no to the streetwalker scene. Remember, prostitution is legal in Montreal....for outcall. As long as it stays behind closed doors, they don't say anything.

So I doubt people would rock the boat and try to mess things up by being "high profile" in a tourist area.

hello everyone,

i am planning another montreal trip in the next few weeks. whenever i go in the summer, there is always a good SW scene, those girls are pretty hot and the prices are quite a bit lower than escort. you can also see what you get in person and there is a good selection.

the thing is that i am going in the winter and my guess is that there wont be much street action going on because of the cold. i was wondering if these girls move somewhere inside for the winter. the main street action was usually down by St. Catherine and St. LAurant intersection area and east of that. does anyone have any tips on finding them in the winter time? i remember someone mentioning that they may hang out at seedy bars in the area.
