Americans to introduce a gun? registry like we have here in the UK?

So then the police can show up at the hostage scene wait for 5 hours until everyone is killed. Or someone exercising their second amendment right can take matters into their own hands.

The UK should focus on common sense; something you lack.

No just crack down on bullying. There's really no way to stop these things from happening short of banning guns or cracking down hard on bullies, and I prefer the latter

I think we have it (I don't really know),
but I think the problem of people using guns to kill is from illegal gun trading,
they probably didn't register for the guns, and bought it from corner in an alley or something.
To stop this is to bump law enforcement

Yeah because that would stop someone from stealing a gun from someone else.

Maybe we should introduce a kitchen knife registry to reduce the number of stabbings.

Where I live at least, registration is required for a handgun(more often used for crime) just not a shotgun or rifle(more often used for hunting).

maybe, but i really don't think a gun registry would help anything. It would make things more complicated for law abiding people, and the criminals would just have them illegally. Do you really think someone is going to think, " I was going to hold up this shop, but darn, I'd better get my gun registered first."
