I like the Summer Sampler idea. I'm still wanting to get the ladies in my salon together and host a community picnic at a local public park, maybe one with a pool. I can image myself grilling burgers and hotdogs for networking purposes (I swear, it's just for networking, not for a business-write-off party).Maybe start offering cold stone therapy for facial massage? You could do a "cool off" wrap with a spearmint/seaweed mask. Maybe some scrubs that help break up cellulite for the beach babes? I'm planning on doing chair massage at the beach on some weekends.

I love the idea of chair massage at the beach! I could definitely do that. I read somewhere (on another forum?) about a "Lemonade" treatment for feet. I'm sure I could whip up something for that. A nice lemon sugar scrub perhaps? I don't have a shower available where I'm at so I have to be creative.

I love the idea of chair massage at the beach! I could definitely do that.

Ooh this is a fun thread for feeding my spring fever!I already offer a "stress less" treatment consisting of an aromatherapy foot soak with massage on the scalp neck and shoulders followed with a reflexology foot massage...maybe switch the foot massage for the lemonade treatment and serve a Hansens smoothie in my fun margarita glasses?? (hansens is a brand they carry at the health food store where my office is just fyi)Or a margarita body polish with the aloe and shea butter recipe melb posted in the spa section with lime E.O. instead of the rose powder??Hmmm, I seem to have margaritas on the brain. Good thing its Friday ;DKirsten

Maybe you can have them rinse their feet in a foot bath? I am thinking of using the ingredients for a foot bath instead.

At our school we had a spa track youcould have taken after graduation.We got a mini version of what it would entail one day.She showed us salt scrub which was basically sprinkling salt from a grated cheese jar onto an oiled leg/arm/back....massaged in and then toweled off with a moist warmed towel.This was done in the classroom.  I've done it a few times (for friends)but do not offer it.  It did leave a little salt behind....Robyn

For taking product off the feet and body:I dont have access to a sink in my room either - but some of the tempting treatment options were just too much to resist!  I just use hot wet towels.  I keep them in a roaster with some warm water and wipe off excess product.  Super easy.  I am pretty lazy so instead of walking down the hall to fill the roaster I just use inexpensive gallon jugs of water - then dump outside in the grass when I am done.Love, love, LOVE the margarita and lemonade ideas!!!

Be wary of beach massage, chair or otherwise - many public beaches prohibit such activity (Miami Beach for one) as do most licensing practices.As for a summer promo - focus on the sun aspect. Finish massage with a super moisturizer or aloe concoction. Dermalogica makes a great product, After Sun Repair. Enough left in the tube to take home afterward.
