In reading some of the posts/ads from various ladies on the 'net, you see the word "Tantric".

From my understanding, it includes meditation, building arousal...separating your body from the orgasm amongst other things.

No, I have never tried it....

There are only a few providers around that claim to practice it...and when they advertise that particular specialty they definitely charge for it.

Has anyone here tried it? What did you get out of it? Was it worth the "investment"?

What do you do different now that you didn't do before?

Anything else to add?

I have never tried it, but did a little searching online and came to the conclusion that nobody really knows the true definition of "Tantra" or "Tantric"- especially when it comes to massage. So any SP could advertise "Tantric massage" and take me into a room and have me stand on my head and have snakes crawl all over me and call it "Tantric" and I'd have to believe her. I think it's probably similar to SP's who claim to do "Thai" massage where it's not even close to what a true Thai massage is supposed to be.

Tried it with a few. There are two in Red Deer area who are authentic, and understand the spirituality of it. The whole body orgasm isn't a myth and pretty cool to experience.

Most in Edm are a prolonged HJ and nothing more. Calgary also has some providers but can't comment as haven't tried as yet. Edm used to have a few authentic, but they have moved on.

The only true tantric practitioner that I know has long since moved on to different things. Chaos knows who I mean. She was a Russian woman and the experience was pricy yes but it became very much more as time was invested. It was real tantra and yes I use what I learned .

Loving Gaia was one of the authentics in Edm. Agree that it was a good experience as I enjoyed a number of times. The techniques have served me well afterwards also.

For a similar experience, suggest you look to Red Deer and Clive. Both have in depth approach and knowledge, though no FS.

OK, curiousone64, and anyone else who is interested, the previous posters are correct in saying that there is no standard. Anyone can say they offer tantric services. It really doesn't mean anything. What makes the experience, is them, not a course they went on.

I like to think of it as playing with sexual energy. I stumbled into this years ago because of my chronic fatique, which was made worse by frequent ejaculations. Whether or not you believe the whole "life force energy" thing, when a guy ejaculatates, it triggers a who series of hormone and neurotransmitter effects that make you more tired than you were before. My initial research took me towards Taoist sexual energy movement and it is similar to Tantra (less well known and less "sexy"). Yes, orgasm and ejaculation are two separate events that happen so close together that most don't realize it. I never did. It is real, but I don't preach one way is better than another. For me, I ejaculate when my body tells me to, so I say that I am unattached to whether or not I ejaculate with someone. An orgasm without ejaculation is pretty cool and, based on some pillow talk with a few women, it seems to be similar to a female orgasm. It is an overall body tingling sensation, sometimes accompanied by pulses of energy similar to what is felt during an ejaculation. Sometimes, I can feel my prostate pumping as I am having one, but it does not lead to ejaculation.
