Tennis Elbow
After thorough arm work (similar to what all have suggested above), I like to do a compression & lever move. Client supine. Arm/hand extended straight up to the ceiling. Press your thumb & forefinger on the lateral & medial tender points proximal of the elbow joint's bony landmarks. (this smarts even if you do it on yourself, so you'll know exactly where to work). While applying sustained pressure, slowly lever the forearm, articulating the elbow. Make friends with them again immediately afterwards... ha haI also love to strip the triceps from shoulder to elbow, as if I were moving along the groove of the gastrocs, while the client is prone - arm dangling off the side of table. You could also recommend they try wearing a compression strap to support the injury while they recover. Sell them some Sombra to use at home.Jill/Sagetherapist
