Thailand Bangkok, Accommodation and Budget?

I'm traveling to Thailand soon and plan to stay for 2 weeks, I have two questions regarding budget and accommodation.

Do I need to book accommodation in advance ?
and
How much money should I plan to take ?

plenty of hotel from 700 baths in bkk.
Would be better to book 1 or 2 nights with free bus shuttle so you don't have to worry when you arrive.

After look around for a cheaper room.

Whatever happen in bkk, relax.... It s very cheap there.

Use booking.com, there is hundreds of hotels at vastly reduced rates, I used it every time I am there, service is immediate and you can book only a couple of minutes before you want the room, I sat outside a hotel abd booked on my laptop and walked right in and my booking was there

Came to know from my friend that Hotel Tune in Pattaya is worth for money.

I will also reconmend the Eastiny hotel in Pattaya, it is in Soi 7, right in the middle of the night life and 2 min walk to the beach, I booked through booking.com and it was very reasonable priced

I am visiting Bangkok in second week of March along with a friend. Can anyone suggest me a budgeted weekly rental accommodation. A studio room is also enough for us. What would the approximate charges and what would be an ideal location..?

Stay in a nice hotel if you want but you won't be able to bring girls there. But you can rent out other rooms by the hour or night if necessary. Not expensive.

Visit Booking.com..... its very easy to find hotel from there with varity of options available.... or you can also try expedia.com which also offer full package with tickets and can rental services.
