There's an MP at Danforth and jusy before Woodbine that has a few Asian gems with high mileage. I've enjoyed myself tremendously. Closer to Sarah's next to the variety store across the street.

For a list of places—w/o recommendations—there's always Romeo's Purple Pages (although he confuses things by not distinguishing Danforth Road from the entirely different Danforth Avenue).

I trust you didn't want to see every one of those listed here.

I'll add the Ethiopian restaurant Dukem—Danny at Donlands—to the list, tiny friendly place with affordable fabulous food. And the coffee ceremony's a great finish to a spectacular dining experience. Let them charm you.

If this place is in a house on Dawes Road north of Danforth, I don't think that girl will be there. Middle aged asians. Decent bang for your buck. But be prepared to walk.

Addis Ababa on Queen West has an amazing coffee ceremony, they use frankinsense in an urn wafting and dark rich coffee. It too is Ethiopian.
