I am here with an MPA after she has read over what has been said so far ... I decided to show her this thread because she already knows that I am a member of this board.
She is very dear to me, and if you really wanted to know what they go thru, she has decided to add some input.
How about the MPAs that start later in life, 30s, they may have been part of a downsizing or recently separated from an SO and now have to face the real life. Or maybe they have bills to pay and there 9 to 5 just doesnt cut it.
They choose this profession for the money, it is good, but do you realize what they have to give up to earn some good money sometimes? reverse the role and on customer after another comes in, and your doing nude or whatever and this guy gropes you or tries to stick his tongue down your throat and his fingers elsewhere. You feel like a piece of meat in a butcher shop sometimes. Then what happens, you have to compose yourself for the next guy that comes in. Some of these guys just don't listen but then again it was a slow day and you need the extra $$$.
You park your car a little further away or out of sight so that nobody really see you going in. Hoping more so that a customer doesnt see what you drive and possibly follow you home.
You have to be careful not to reveal too much personal information, like where you live and such.
You have to answer to a name you made up for clients and hear it all day.
You worry each day that when a new client comes in that you don't know him or have seen him living on your street on in your apartment building. Looks like I am going to have to move for the 3rd time this year.
You have a daughter and when you drop her off at school you hope not to meet any of the fathers that have seen you at your MP.
You go shopping with the thought that any one of your customers may see you.
You dress totally different ways. When working you reveal too much and when not, you try to hide as much as possible.
You have a handle on massageplanet.net and ask people who may have reviewed you for info about yourself. And the reply you hear is not something that you do for clients, meanwhile this asshole is telling the world lies. Then you put 2 and 2 together and realise that those walkins that came in probably are board members and are asking for the stuff in the PM.
You check massageplanet.net to see if anyone posted a review on you every night, giving a sigh of relief when they don't. At least tonight I can sleep soundly. But when you do see one, you know that maybe the phone will ring at the MP for those that have seen the review. How many will make an appointment and cancel, screwing up my regular schedule with regulars and my rotation with walkins.
You wonder how many years more can I do this, I am getting older, my clients see this and I will lose them. Then the much older clients will start to come in and I will have to massage their wrinkling bodies and no more younger ones who I would prefer.
Someone walkins, you greet them, tell them that you are available and they tell you you politely that they will come back but they never do. Or they ask to see who else is available and leave. Wasn't I good enough?
The list goes on ... and she only started. My hands can't type that fast.
Well it is too late in the night and I have to take her home now.
She thanks you for listening and hopes that you understand.
