AUSTIN (KXAN) — A therapist at an Austin area spa was charged with sexual assault after a woman told police he touched her inappropriately during a massage.

According to a Bee Cave Police Department arrest warrant affidavit, 34-year-old Kevin Frazier Wilson touched the victim without her consent during a two-hour massage at milk + honey in Bee Cave on Oct. 24.

The spa confirmed to police Kevin Wilson worked as a therapist and he was the only man who worked with the victim that day, the affidavit reads.

Alissa Bayer, the founder of milk + honey, told KXAN she was “saddened and shocked to learn of the allegations against [Kevin] Wilson.”

Wilson had only been with the spa for two months at the time of the alleged assault. He was hired in late August. Wilson had more than 13 years of experience, working at “reputable spas,” according to the founder’s statement.


Bayer added — “As a female founded company, I can assure you that milk + honey has zero tolerance for sexual misconduct or behavior from any employee or client. We operate with the highest level of integrity and will do everything we can to ensure that any employee who does not uphold the ethical standards assigned with being a professional therapist is held fully accountable for their actions. As soon as we were made aware of these accusations, [Wilson] was immediately removed from our schedule and was subsequently terminated. We attempted to make contact with the victim and asked for her permission to submit a formal complaint to TDLR on her behalf with the intent of rendering him unable to perform massage services in the future. In addition, we have offered our partnership and support with law enforcement and have provided them with necessary documentation in support of their investigation.”

Wilson had an active massage therapy license and was in good standing by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, milk + honey said in the statement

The spa added it ran a background check and Wilson’s screen was “completely clear and met the requirements for employment.”

During an interview with police, Wilson didn’t deny touching the victim in inappropriate areas, the affidavit reads. The detective asked Wilson if “everything [he] did was within the scope of [his] practice as a Massage Therapist,” to which he replied “No, it deviated from massage,” according to the affidavit.


Wilson was charged with second-degree felony sexual assault. The Bee Cave Police Department said Wilson has not been arrested.
