Therapist Protection

Hi

I maybe imagining this but I'm sure a someone mentioned to methat there is something you can use like an oil or a cream or something that protects therapists when they are giving treatments against toxins and any bad or emotional energy they may get fromyour client.

Hi my work is energy-based and all my clients have emotional problems/issues. When I first started out 9 years ago I used to get terribl headaches and feel 'zapped' by their engergies. But at some point I made a conscious intention to create a white light 'protection' circle around me and have not had any problems since. An intention is a powerful tool - I would think better than a cream or oilHope this helps.

Yes I agree with that. The white light helps, and also keeping yourself grounded helps. Also keeping black tourmaline with you either in your pocket or wearing it as jewelry will help to protect you from other peoples negative energy.

Hi,

I too was looking for something to protect me whilst giving treatments, I've been studying reflexology since Jan 07 and have been feeling zapped most of the time. I went to the Mind, Body & Spirit festival a few weeks ago and found a couple of products. I was at first attracted to the wonderful smells from the candles on their stand and then saw their Protection Annointing Oil and Cleansing & Clearing Aroma mist spray - all their products are 100% oraganic essential oils. The girl on the stand explained that many therapists incorporate their productsin their routines (reflexology being one that was listed on their handouts!).

Yes, I think it is about intention. People have different rituals such as using a room spray. Some people use the Rescue Remedy spray for this. I use my Tibetan singing bowl to cleanse rooms generally, and if I want protection for myself I sometimes picture a long blue hooded cloak covering me entirely from head to toes. Bathing myself in white light is another one. You'll find something that grabs you and feels right for you, I'm sure.

Hi,
Try wearing a reflective disc or mirror around you neck to reflect the negative energy away from you. Also I imagine growing roots into the floor and by grounding yourself you will aid the negativity to pass through you. Keep the feet flat on the floor and remember to end your sessions with grounding breathing! Happy practising.

Hi all

I recently began to use a small polished piece of haemetite in my pocket as it is good for grounding. Used it for my final assessments with live clients in college. Will look at the sprays etc that Meridean mentions.
