Therapy music?

Does anyone know where i can get some good therapy music to play in my reflexology treatments?

I currently only have one c.d. which i use and have been booked solid these past few weeks...........when you have heard the same c.d. playing hour after hour for a few weeks, you soon get really aggitated!!![]

I need something soothing and relaxing, but am having trouble finding anything on the net. I have just bought a c.d. from ebay, but would like another one so that i can rotate them, which means that i don't have to listen to the same c.d. over and over again!

Anyone got any ideas of suppliers of this type of music? Any help would be appreciated.

I've been using music by Llewellyn called Reiki Gold (and not just for Reiki)
I've used it for IHM and I find it really relaxing and soothing to work to
I have about 7 or 8 cds but find I enjoy this the most

Llewellyn is a lovely composer and I find him very easy on the ear. If you go into Woolies they have a stand with CDs on and you can listen to sample tracks from each. They are only about a fiver and I've had a couple of lovely ones from there. Also took my chances and bought a couple of easy listening type ones from HMV and they were lovely too.

If you go on to Amazon you can listen to sample tracks on selected CDs, which is a help rather than just buying one 'blind'.

Another good choice for therapies is good old Enya!

Quite a good selection , I use Angels for my Reiki clients, it is totally ethereal.

If like me, you feel a bit distracted by lyrics, or single instruments such as pianos, violins...(as a customer lying down and trying to swich off it can be annoying) then this IS the absolute. It floats...sounds brought together in harmony, like the backgound of an unconscious journey. No beat or drum, and no dancy tune (which can be a door in the way of drifting off). just otherworldy waves...

I never see much wrong with the classics if you get the right one. Try Vaughan Williams' Pastoral Symphony. It's cheap to buy in some versions and it really hits the spot!

I find that often with classical music, it's quite difficult to get the volume right. Often there will be a nice gentle relaxing piece and then suddenly it gets very loud.

Not always the case, of course, but you have to know the music first.

I tend to use classics in my therapies. I find Delius and Vaughan Williams especially calming. There is also a series of Chill Out with .... that you get at HMV, I have Chill Out with Debussy, Sarti and Rachmaninov - and my customers comment on them as well.

I will soon be using my husband's music in my therapies as he has developedsounds fusing eastern/westerncultures which is selling well in the East at the moment. He is producing a specialCD to use in treatments byputting togethera lot of the chill-out tracks.

Just try that piece. In volume it does not go up and down, or if it does, people move with it.
