Welp, it was only a matter of time.
There are now massages for people who have too much hand, arm, and neck stress due to smart phone dating. Elite Daily took a deep dive into the world of Bliss Spa's 30-minute, $80 "swipe right" massage to see if it really did help soothe weary fingers and a love-deprived heart.
Basically, it's a quick arms, hands, neck and back massage with all sorts of delicious smelling creams. Heaven:
Following the hand-and-arm massage was the neck work. I'm wary of anyone touching the back of my neck, because I'm really ticklish there. There's nothing cute about hysterically laughing in the face of a man with poreless skin, mid-massage.
Instead of cracking me up, Johnny's hands essentially put me right to sleep. It was blissful, pun intended.
Following the neck work, he asked me to sit up for the quick back massage. I felt like a zombie, lulled back into sleep by the soft music, Johnny's hands and the fact that there were cucumbers on my eyeballs. I have never felt more posh and relaxed.
The whole thing sounds divine, and leaves your arms feeling silky and looking slightly shimmery, which is helpful for tackling Tinder again with renewed vigor!
Sadly, the massage recipient reported that she didn't have an increased desire to swipe right afterwards. Hmmm... maybe there needs to be a massage that helps dudes on Tinder to get their shit together so there's more of a reason to? Someone get on that!
