They walked

A minister's son came to his dad and said, “ Father, I think it is time for me to learn to drive.”
His dad replied, “Son, you are right, but I think you should work for it. I want you to get to know your Bible better. I want you to bring up your grades. And I want you to cut your hair.”
Many weeks went by and finally the son came to his dad and said, “ I'm ready.”
His dad said, “Yes, my son, I see you studying your Bible everyday, and it is wonderful! And I see you have brought up all of your grades, and I am so proud of you! But you haven't cut your hair yet.”

His son said, “My father, in studying the Bible I have learned that none of those people had short hair. Abraham didn't have short hair. Jacob didn't have short hair. Why even Jesus didn't have short hair.”

His father said, “Yes, you are right my son...but they walked!”
