Tiger Disco Beer Prices

Went to Tiger the other night for the first time in a few of months and was very surprised to see that 1. they raised their entrance fee to 200 baht...which you get a ticket to be exchanged for a drink...so basically 200 baht for a drink???....and 2. when I got inside I asked how much for a San Miguel....180 baht!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............Thats nuts!

Tiger disco is more of a hunting ground IMO so normally don't end up getting many beers. I've often found the ticket in my pocket the next day cos I left with a honey before even making it to the bar, happy days!

Which new place do you refer to? Are you talking about the other Tiger? The one everyone seems to think is going to be super expensive? Just curious as I always rather enjoyed Tiger Disco, I never even pulled out of there, I just liked the atmosphere and the music. Ladies were nice too, though!

The discos are same price as being at a club back home, glad i don't drink in them alot on holiday.

putting up all prices in old tiger over last 6 months so when they do change over to the new one, no one can say really expensive then the old tiger. just the same answers as always from staff. same same old tiger.

As other have mentioned already... what's the point of paying 200B when you can walk in for free at Hollywood and if you like, drinks start at 100 for a tequila shot.

I agree, went to Taipan twice on my last trip, met quite a few stunners. And that's not because of the beer goggles, as I also saw some older TGs.

I actually have never been to Taipan - when I was "selecting" I would make a decision early and " Home Somchai " well before the left-overs got there after bar closing time.
However many BGs/FLs have told me they go there to find an older guy " to take care and not hurt putchy all night ".

Don’t quote me on the following as it’s 2nd hand but a little bird said that Simon group told Pia they didn’t want him to have a disco in the new place and that if he did they wouldn’t renew his lease on the old tiger complex, word is he said uck’m and added the new disco, he figures they’ll be more punters in there than the old joint as the new is bigger and better.
We’ll see how it pans out soon I guess.
